Lots of things going on...

Sun Aug 30, 2009, 12:52 PM
So, I am currently waiting to move to Mountlake Terrace here in Washington, and all my thing are packed... i also have a new job I'm starting, working @ the mall back in seattle city limits. ^_^ so, I've been a little busy.

Things on the way:

1) AdCast!! I bought a subscription, and am waiting for a commission banner from a friend since i have no (decent) editing software.

2) Since I'll have a long distance on the bus to travel to/from work and will be living in a new location, I'll be taking my camera *everywhere* with me. :) more photos in the near future, hee hee.

so, sorry about the hiatus everyone. giving it my all, but I have to get out of this house before my 'rents drive me past insane.... yeah, that's a not a good thing... heh...

deviantID

I grew up in Seattle,WA near the northern city limits, and have lived all but 3 months of my life in the same area. I have travelled a few places, but enjoy it here the most so far...

I have been interested in being behind a camera since i could remember, but the price of traditional camera film made it an interest rather than a hobby. My parents also refused to pay for the classes in high school since they were also paying for ceramics, drawing & painting, jewelry, and choir.

When i recieved my first digital camera (Kodak 6440 w/ 6000 series dock) for my 21st birthday, i fell in love w/ the unlimited photos i could take and practiced being a shutterbug consistently. I upgraded a couple years ago to the Kodak 6490 through an old friend and have been enjoying it even more!

I now do portaits (family mainly), candids, landscapes, architecture, flora, fauna, etc... i appreciate true beauty, and rarely feel that i need to adjust the settings on my camera so far, but there are moments when curiosity gets me and i'll adjust the light sensor, shutter, or color spectrum to see how something will look.

I still consider myself quite an amateur and hope to someday become as spectacular in my work as the people who i see here featured on Deviant Art (and favorite, watch, collect, etc... lol).
Also, it's been awhile but i do draw, sculpt, crochet amigurumi, and design (clothes & costumes, landscapes, characters, jewelry, etc...). These are my more expensive hobbies, so they have been pushed back to the interest section of my life for the time being...

When i'm not behind the camera, as of late I'm hanging out w/ my sisters' kids, my awesome friends, at my local karaoke bar, bellydancing w/ my troupe Raks Maleka, or (like everyone else in this economy) searching for the oh-so common day job.

If you live local and would love to do a photo shoot or want a specific print in a different frame setup, collage framing, or something that DA does not offer in their print selections, contact me here and we can discuss the details to see if i can help. :)

I am *always* willing to work w/ possible customers.
